Support is given to organisations that offer educational programmes, from Early Childhood Development to tertiary level.
Based in the Helderberg area, Masikhule trains women from marginalised communities to become ECD educators. The Masikhule team mentors educators at community-based ECD centres and develops the centres with a holistic approach that includes nutrition and recycling.
Project Literacy conducts education and training programmes in disadvantaged communities, with a developmental approach that includes training people within communities to work on the programmes. One of their well-known programmes is Run Home To Read.
